Shawnee Optical - Dayton

I was very pleased with my visit at Shawnee optical. The manager and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable; Dr. Fenton took the time to explain the process of my vision tests and was very informative throughout my visit. I Definitely will continue to use Shawnee optical for my vision care.

After three days of experiencing floaters in my right eye I decided to get an eye exam. I needed to go where Medicare was accepted as that is my provider. Shawnee Optical was close and convenient, and they got me an appointment quickly. The tech took some tests on my eye and then shared the results with Dr. Elizabeth Hardin. After she reviewed the results she consulted with me and wanted a few further tests run, which we did. After those results we consulted again and she shared her concern that I need immediate laser surgery as I had retinal tears (Vitreous hemorrhage). They referred me to Dayton Vitreo-Retinal Associates in Dayton for an appointment early the next morning, where the diagnosis was confirmed and the procedure performed. So thankful for Dr. Hardin and this facility to identify my issue and assist my needs quickly. Highly recommend!

Dr. Elizabeth Hardin is very knowledgeable and thorough. All the others are all very friendly and make sure you are taken care of. Debbie always goes out of her way to make sure you have the best fit and style for you!

Lovely experience. I was treated like I had been going there for years, even though it was my first time. All the ladies were very friendly. Dr. Elizabeth was exceptional, very educational, explained everything to me and then some, she said something I loved and it was..."the more you know, the better team we are" and THAT I absolutely loved. Definitely recommend her and the entire staff.

Dr Hardin is amazing. She is thorough, caring, listens to your questions and concerns, and makes you feel comfortable and your needs important. Her staff is equally as good. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.

All staff including Dr. Hardin were very friendly and did not leave you with the feeling you were a number that they were working with. It is and was very personable in all of the phases of their interaction with you. I really appreciate businesses who take the time for you.

I have recently just went here and I came in very upset because I have been to so many eye places in the last few years that it's been ridiculous and I have gotten no where. The doctor here was absolutely AMAZING! She was very thorough and I came out with such relief and I FINALLY had all my problems resolved. I new I wasn't going crazy. I HIGHLY recommend her and her staff was absolutely amazing as well, in today's world you can't find doctors and office people like that. They actually CARE!!!!
